Read About Athletics for Free

There aren't that many track and field magazines around and
certainly none that make it to Malta. So, when a year ago I started receiving the IAAF backed Spikes magazine I was delighted. Sadly, mine was a luxury that few others were afforded since the magazine's circulation was restricted to the UK.
Not any more, however. Earlier this week, the IAAF announced that the magazine was going to be made available worldwide and at an enviable price: for free! Indeed, the only charge is that to cover postage. And if you don't even want to pay that, you can see the page-turning online version here.
As the marketing spiel goes, "SPIKES features the names and sport of athletics in an off-beat and entertaining way. SPIKES has incredible stories, beautiful images from the world of athletics and insider information on the science behind the sport. SPIKES is not only a Magazine, but a website too and you can consult it every day at www.spikesmag.com."
Anyone interested in a free subscription - and you really should be - can go here.
